After numerous mixtapes and 2 full length Albums on San Quinn and Charles Kelly labe Done Deal the group split around '02 due to the struggle of the independent game musically.
Then thru a neighborhood barber, Bailey was informed J. Valentine (an established writer and soon to be King of R&Bay) was interested in signing him to his label he started called "CityboyzMuzik", with the proud go from his family, and rapping partners. Bailey set off to L.a. to make new history and witnessing extremely new things. Releasing the "Livin' The Dream" "The Fuck Yo Couch" sampler along with "The Hide Ya Breezy" mixtape ft. I rep the B-a-y-y-y. The official "Champ Bailey solo Album ft. "Fuck yo Couch" (which has over a million views on youtube) and U-C-IT (prod. by Major League and was aired on MTV Jamz). Next the "Air 'Em Out" mixtape ft. the songs "Bay Figga" and "My Jays". Up to his latest "Just Listen" Street Album with songs "Work The Magic" and "I Got Bands" amongst other purposely southern driven tracks.
With GOD, hard work, playa like manners, well taken notes, and being on J. Valentine's "Go Dumb" (T-Pain "I'm Sprung") Remix. Bailey ended up with a deal at Jrecords, and eager to make hits to help other Bay Area Major Artist that finally may have a shot at stardom.
